My sweet Bug Olivia is now 15 months old. Two nights ago O & I were in the bath. I asked her to put her head back (oh so sweetly) for the 15,987th time since she was born, so I could wash her hair without worry that her soap would get into her eyes and all over her face. Though she doesn't mind the soap & water all over her face, I just wanted to start getting her used to the bath and hanging out in it to get her ready for swim lessons. Side note, we've kept her out of the pool thus far as the chlorine isn't supposed to be great for them, since we do non-chlorine everything anyway, it seems a little odd to dunk them in a pool of chlorine. I don't know if I can keep her out much longer as I want to go swimming SO BAD with her, so that might be sooner than later especially with this weather the way it is right now! (80 in March)
ANYway, I asked her to put her head back AND ... SHE DID IT!!! I was SO proud of her. She put her head back with no fuss and washed her hair AND kicked her feet. It was awesome, to know that for 15 months you've been telling them something then FINALLY they just do it, like DUH I've been doing it all along and you haven't seen it.
My proudest moment yet. Even more than when she started to walk. I don't know why but it is. Good Livy :)
